Elemental Loose Incense

Incense has smoldered on altars and in homes for thousands of years.  It can be used for meditation, purification, rituals, to set an intention, or just for its lovely fragrance.
Elemental Incense is crafted using resins, herbs, and essential oils that correspond to the elements of Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Ingredients are hand chosen with intention to produce a perfectly unique blend for use in calling upon that element's power.

Earth: 
Yellow Sandalwood, Juniper, Patchouli Essential Oil, Himalayan Salt. Call upon the power of Earth to manifest peace, fertility, money, and garden growth.

Air:
Benzoin, Frankincense, Lavender, Mint. Call upon the power of Earth to manifest peace, fertility, money, and garden growth.

Fire:
Frankincense, Red Sandalwood, Dragon's Blood, Rosemary, Orange Peel, Rosemary Essential Oil. Call upon the power of Fire to manifest physical strength, courage, magical power, and for purification.

Water:
Benzoin, Myrrh, Red Sandalwood, Lemon Balm, Eucalyptus Essential Oil. Call upon the power of water to manifest love, healing, peace, and friendship and to promote sleep and dreams.

To smolder loose incense:
You will need sand or earth, a heatproof dish, a round charcoal disc ( NOT the kind you use for Bar-b-q!).
1. Add sand or earth to a heatproof dish.
2.  Use caution when lighting the charcoal disc.   Use tongs to hold the charcoal disc while you light it.  Once it begins to spark, you can place it on top of the sand or earth.
3. Once the charcoal disc turns ashy grey, it’s ready to use.
4. Sprinkle just a bit of the loose incense blend onto the center of the charcoal disc.  If desired, you can add a bit more once the smoke dissipates.  A small amount of incense goes a long way!  
5.  Smolder in a well-ventilated area or outdoors.  Never leave incense smoldering unattended.  The heatproof dish may become hot as the incense smolders, so let the dish cool completely before handling.  *Keep away from children.  Do not ingest.  Owl and Moon Emporium is not responsible for the misuse of this product.*
